I am interested in using quantitative tools to understand the spread and control of infectious diseases. Specifically, there are often parallel questions in infectious disease dynamics and population dynamics in ecology. My long-term goal is to develop theory that bridges two fields. Outside of research, I enjoy cooking and making music.
