Prior to his postdoc, Graham completed a PhD in Computational Biology at UC Berkeley where he studied transmission and evolution of pathogens using mathematical and statistical modeling approaches. This training made him more interested in host immunity and the variation of immune response between hosts; and how this understanding can improve our modeling approaches. Graham also completed a BS in Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Chicago. In his free time, he can be found running on the lakefront or hanging out with his cat Roger.
