I am interested in using computational models to study the dynamics of human immunity in response to infection and vaccination with the aim to improve longer-term model forecasts of infectious disease transmission.
I previously studied transmission dynamics and intervention strategies of viral pathogens (namely dengue and SARS-Cov-2) using agent-based models. One such application of this modeling was to produce forecasts of COVID-19 in the state of Florida.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and exploring the city of Chicago (particularly its restaurants).
